We strive to understand your interests, talents and career aspirations through multiple conversations in the selection process. This will also help us develop a customised, comprehensive programme to give you the best experiences and learning outcomes. Based on well thought-out projects with business objectives, you will collaborate with a team of GICians and be supervised by a seasoned professional to maximise your growth.
You will gain an understanding of key functions across GIC through weekly lunch-and-learn sessions with our business leaders. Network with GIC professionals, our partners and counterparties to broaden as well as deepen your knowledge. Build bonds with your fellow programme participants, as you discover together how to make the transition from school to our workplace. Get the most out of your learning experience.
At the end of the internship, you may gain a place in either the GIC Professionals Programme (for our GIC Interns) or a full-time mid-career role (for our Masters Interns) to springboard your career in the exciting world of investments, and have the unique opportunity to play a part in securing Singapore's tomorrows.

The opportunity to learn about investing from some of the best in the industry, being mentored by seasoned investors, and gaining exposure to the broader GIC business. To me, these are the best parts of the GIC Internship Programme.
Private Equity

The GIC Internship Programme offered me an insight into the day-to-day work of an associate at GIC, as well as the company's culture, through interactions with GICians across the firm. I benefitted from a relentless willingness to invest in individuals, through on-the-job training and well-crafted real work exposure. These helped me grow both professionally and personally.
Integrated Strategies Group

You’re given a lot of autonomy. Even as an intern, I could lead meetings with experts. It was very empowering.
Real Estate
