The learning opportunities are limitless. Your journey begins with a month-long intensive 'bootcamp' run by our dedicated GIC School. This gives a comprehensive introduction to the main business areas in GIC, with sharings by seasoned industry professionals and senior management. Graduates are assigned an MD mentor to guide their personal and professional development.
Start to establish internal networks and gain a 360-degree understanding of GIC through three business rotations. At each rotation, a dedicated supervisor will craft a meaningful work plan to maximise your on-the-job learning. Work with teammates to solve real world business problems and make an impact.
After the rotations, in-depth specialisation in your identified role begins. We take a long-term approach to people development and continue to invest in your career development, equipping you for the unfolding future. Continue to hone your skills, as you renew and reinvent yourself to be future-ready.
Applications open from 21 December. Early applications are encouraged.
At GIC, we have many rewarding fields to build your career in.
Some of our groups include Public Equities, Fixed Income, Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Economics & Investment Strategy, and Data & Technology.

We value a diversity of perspectives and ideas, and see education as a training of the mind. Our Associates come from a wide variety of fields including, but not limited to, Accountancy, Economics, Engineering, and Liberal Arts.
As the GPP is designed for fresh graduates, you should be a final year student, passionate and excited about a career at GIC. You should have strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as an interest in the fund management industry.

You have the opportunity to make an impact based on the merits of your ideas, not just your level of experience. I pitched a stock on my rotation that we still own today.
Public Equities

The GPP has groomed me into an effective finance professional. The bootcamp and rotations have equipped me with essential hard skills to excel in my daily work, while the well-customised courses have enhanced my soft skills to be a constructive team member.
Fixed Income

The breadth of the GPP is what really sets it apart. Rotating across multiple asset classes has been invaluable, and makes the programme a must for anyone wanting to start their career on the buy-side. It has equipped me with skills I will use for the rest of my career.
Infrastructure
We are not recruiting for numbers, but for a good fit with GIC.
Each candidate may experience different combinations. Generally speaking, you will need to go through online tests, activity-based assessments, and interviews with HR and relevant business function heads.
You are invited to share your areas of interest with us, in terms of both function and geographical location. We will consider your preferences, but deployment will be subject to our business needs.
Everyone is given similar opportunities. We advocate meritocracy and believe in rewarding for performance.
You will be offered a competitive remuneration, in line with the market. Our compensation philosophy reflects several principles. Firstly, we strive to provide a competitive compensation package to attract and retain talent globally. Secondly, your compensation is driven by performance. Thirdly, we reward sustainable good performance rather than performance that is volatile and based on excessive risk-taking.
We started the GPP focussed on recruiting for investing functions, such as Public Markets, Private Markets, Risk & Performance Management, Economics & Investments Strategy and Integrated Strategies. We have expanded this programme to include business functions such as Legal & Compliance, Human Resource & Organization, Data & Technology and Investment Services.
As a candidate, you will be asked to indicate up to three preferred areas of work. You will then be assessed for overall fit, as well as suitability. We strive to identify a hiring department for every participant through the selection process. The first eight months are for broader learning and exposure. You will then return to your hiring department for in-business specialisation.
There is no set formula on how these rotations are determined. Your rotations will be customised based on your interests and suitability to the business teams. The rotations are meant to help you gain exposure and build your perspective of GIC's business.
GIC is interested in recruiting talented candidates, regardless of nationality, background and gender. We assess you on your overall GIC fit. This comprises analytical abilities, ability to work well in a team, and motivational qualities.
