Find out more about building your career at GIC, where you can learn and grow –all with the ultimate goal of building Singapore's tomorrows.

Your starting point
  1. All individuals are unique, so start by asking yourself: What are you most passionate about? What challenges and excites you? What do you value most in a career?
  2. If a career in GIC attracts you, let us know. There are opportunities to engage us through our internships and unversity recruitment events happening at a campus near you.
  3. Apply online. Your CV will be the first thing we look at to get to know you. Tell us about your projects, achievements and interests, what drives you and describe your career goals.
  4. If you are shortlisted, we will contact you directly about our selection process.
How we select
  1. At GIC, we hope to find a role that best matches your skills and work-style preferences. That's why our selection process is rigorous, comprising multiple rounds of assessments, including online tests, face-to-face interviews and an Assessment Centre. For technical roles, an additional online technical test may apply.
  2. The online tests assess your cognitive abilities and working style. The duration of the various tests ranges from 15 minutes to an hour.
  3. Face-to-face interviews typically last 30 to 40 minutes each. They allow you to share your leadership, problem-solving and decision-making strengths. It's important to us that you can grow into different roles – including ones that are yet to be created.
  4. Our Assessment Centre is a full-day event comprising individual and group exercises, followed by interviews with our hiring managers. We focus on your communication, collaboration, creativity and analytical skills under different scenarios.
  5. Successful applicants for the GIC Professionals Programme will proceed to a final round interview with a senior management panel.
Some tips for applicants:
  • Your interview is an opportunity for you to highlight your unique personality. It also gives us a chance to get to know you, your approach to learning, and your familiarity with investment-related matters. Be prepared to share your views and opinions, and to go in-depth on specific examples.
  • Leadership qualities are important too, so tell us about the teams or projects you have led, your contributions and the results.
