Private Equity (PE)
GIC has one of the largest and most diverse private equity portfolios globally, with an extensive network of over 100 active relationships with global fund managers, and direct investments in more than 1,000 companies worldwide. Our investments span across the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, covering a diverse range of sectors, including Technology, Healthcare, Financial services, Business Services, Consumer, Industrials, and Sustainable Energy. GIC PE also invests across the capital structure, including equity, senior and junior debt, as well as in secondary PE deals, restructuring, opportunistic credit, and special situations.
Direct Investments Group, China
The Direct Investment strategy focuses on direct minority growth investments, as well as buyouts alongside GIC’s fund managers.
We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our team as an Executive Assistant.
What will you do as an Executive Assistant?
•Provide secretariat and administrative duties to a team of investment professionals
•Manage schedule, arrange and coordinate internal (e.g. team meetings, investment committee meetings etc.) and external meetings, upload documents onto relevant applications
•Organize business trips and prepare travel itineraries (i.e. book all aspects of business travel - flight, hotels, taxis, restaurants)
•Keep track of correspondences and ensure proper maintenance of records
•Organize and maintain electronic files (via Enterprise Document Management System/EDMS), support the office manager in corporate functions (IT, internal audit, security, etc.)
•Track and maintain staff welfare expense, claims and reimbursements
•Provide secretarial and administrative support as required (e.g. filing, photocopying, prepare documents for signing)
•Work closely with executive assistants internally and externally across departments to coordinate team activities such as welcome and farewell sessions, year-end department gatherings and events
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
•Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in supporting secretarial and administrative support to a team of professionals
•High learning agility with good pro-activeness in problem solving and striving for greater efficiency and effectiveness in task management
•Good communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and organizational skills
•Good general knowledge of IT equipment and usage, Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook
•Experience in or strong knowledge of the asset management or finance industry is an added advantage
