We manage deal structuring, due diligence and closing. We provide financial operations to GIC’s private equity, infrastructure, and real estate assets, as well as tax structuring, corporate holding structures, valuations, and financial reporting.
Deal Asset & Finance Team
You will be part of a team that will help to provide financial deal due diligence, financial controllership, treasury and funding, valuation management, investment operations, accounting, financial reporting, and special purpose vehicle management for GIC’s investments.

You will join a dynamic team dedicated to providing investment services across private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and cross-strategy investment portfolios.
We are seeking a suitable candidate to join the Deal & Asset Finance (D&AF) team as an Associate. This role will serve as a finance controller, with primary focus on the finance, accounting, and reporting aspects of deal cycles, along with the ongoing monitoring of investment structuring and valuation across the Americas private market investment teams. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various internal and external stakeholders throughout the investment lifecycle.
What will you do as an Associate, Deal & Asset Finance?

Collaborate with deal teams and relevant stakeholders to assess valuation and operational considerations; coordinate financial due diligence throughout the acquisition and divestment process.

Provide financial and operational inputs on holding structures and funding mechanisms; assess accounting and valuation impacts and execute implementation.

Manage various work streams with internal stakeholders and external advisors during investment / divestment process.

Prepares and reviews market valuation for private investments within corporate policies.

Partner with operation team to fulfill all operating requirements, i.e. liaising with banks on funding guidelines.

Reviews financial controls for asset operations while liaising with external auditors.

Oversee the organization and maintenance of the investment holding platform, including corporate secretarial and financial reporting.
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accountancy or equivalent, ideally with CPA qualification.

3-4 years of relevant working experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm supporting direct private markets transactions.

A driven self-starter with strong initiative; hands-on and adept at managing multiple tasks. Confident in engaging with various stakeholders and capable of working independently to achieve results.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and have a practical working experience with accounting software systems.

Compensation
Our compensation philosophy reflects several principles. We strive to provide a competitive compensation package to attract and retain talent globally. We pay for performance, and reward sustainable results.
Total pay for this position comprises base pay and bonus. The anticipated base salary range for this role is between $95,000 and $125,000. Bonuses, which may form a meaningful proportion of the total pay package, are determined based on company and individual performance.
