Investment Services Private Market and Finance Department 


The Investment Services Private Market and Finance Department is responsible for investment services for the private market and financial management across the GIC group. It is responsible for providing operations and reporting support to the private market business of GIC as well as budgeting, accounting, payment processing, cash management, tax and financial & management reporting services to all departments, corporate management companies and the global offices of the GIC group. It is involved in deal structuring and closing, transaction processing, administration and accounting of investment holding companies, review of financial controls for asset operations, cash & securities reconciliation, valuation and financial reporting for assets under management, and external debt financing.


We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our ISPVMF team as an Associate in our New York Office to assist the investment support teams.



Perform administrative task for Finance & Accounting and Tax team, including but not limited to the following:


  • Arranging tax payments, performing regulatory filings, and performing callbacks for wire instructions to satisfy compliance and operation controls activities
  • Coordinate information and document collection during external financial and tax audits
  • Work with service providers to prepare corporate documents for incorporating and maintaining the set-up of investment holding companies 
  • Prepare KYC/AML documents and certificate of residence for portfolio transactions
  • Coordinate documentation requests that involves obtaining physical and digital signatures, arranging for notarization and mailing of physical documents
  • Assist data and information collection and perform basic research to support analysis performed by the Finance & Accounting and Tax team
  • Maintain the knowledge repository by compiling information into database and systems
  • Assist with any ad hoc system or process improvement related activities



 Requirements & Skills


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or related field from an accredited university
  • Relevant work experience with a professional services firm or multinational
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational ability, attention to detail, and analytic inclination
  • Confidence to balance multiple priorities by considering context, urgency, and importance.
  • Strong MS Office skills and capacity to quickly adapt to various technologies, including platforms relating to video conferencing
  • High degree of self-motivation, ability to manage assigned tasks independently and positively;
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
