Corporate Infrastructure Services Department (CISD)
The Corporate Infrastructure Services Department (CISD) is responsible for managing GIC’s global office infrastructure and administration. This includes procurement, office facilities, engineering, business continuity management, and the development and implementation of administrative policies and frameworks across the GIC Group globally.
We are looking for a highly motivated Associate to join our CISD team in New York. This individual will report to the Senior Vice President, Workplace Management, Americas, and work collaboratively with the Office Managers and Workplace Managers to support the department’s business-as-usual (BAU) activities, projects, and deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day pantry operations to ensure proper management, including budget and inventory oversight, supervision of hospitality staff, and maintenance of cleanliness and service standards. Stay informed of marketplace trends and introduce innovative offerings.
- Lead event planning efforts in coordination with GIC departments, Corporate Communications, Technology, and CISD colleagues. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, site selection, decorations, and last-minute logistics. Support and coordinate NYO staff events as directed by the SVP, CISD.
- Advise on space allocation and seating arrangements to optimize utilization and support organizational changes.
- Manage departmental procurement controls, procurement administration, and invoice processing through GIC’s electronic payment system (ePS). Support budget development, monitor spending against budget, manage accruals, and financial reporting.
- Provide administrative support to the SVP, CISD, and team, including travel and expense management, meeting scheduling, and business continuity activities.
- Assist with insurance-related activities such as claims and proposals.
- Support subscription management across multiple departments.
- Assist with travel management policies and procedures.
- Manage front of house staff to ensure consistent, high-quality service to employees and guests.
- Maintain a strong relationship with building management to ensure office environment needs are met effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts, Business Management, or Facilities Management.
- 3–5 years of work experience in an office environment.
- Well-organized with strong time management skills; results-oriented and adaptable to evolving situations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively on projects and corporate initiatives.
- Comfortable working in an open office environment.
- Flexible to work overtime when required.
- Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously from various stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally to coordinate activities and deliver shared outcomes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Tableau.

Compensation
Our compensation philosophy reflects several principles. We strive to provide a competitive compensation package to attract and retain talent globally. We pay for performance, and reward sustainable results.
Total pay for this position comprises base pay and bonus. The anticipated base salary range for this role is between $80,000 and $100,000. Bonuses, which may form a meaningful proportion of the total pay package, are determined based on company and individual performance.
