Corporate Affairs & Communications (CAC) Department
We handle leading corporate communications, branding and marketing, partnerships, social impact, and other communications with internal and external collaborators. We develop narratives that underpin the GIC brand and protect GIC’s reputation and share these narratives with a range of audiences – our client, partners, the public, media, and our employees – through both internal and external communications.
GIC is seeking a creative and motivated communications professional to support internal, external, and executive communications across the Americas—our largest global region. This role offers hands-on experience working with senior leaders, investment teams, and global partners on high-impact communications initiatives. S/he will report into the Head of Communications and Corporate Affairs for the Americas.
What will you do as an Associate / AVP, CAC?
- Create engaging internal communications across newsletters, intranet, events, and live forums
- Support major regional initiatives, including staff conferences, leadership events, and employee engagement programs
- Develop written and visual content (articles, videos, presentations, social posts) that simplify complex topics and emphasize GIC’s unique capabilities
- Help plan and execute internal and external events that support GIC’s brand and business priorities
- Support thought leadership and executive communications, including research and content development
- Manage content calendars and help maintain organized communications workflows
- Assist with media research, pitch development, and transaction-related communications
- Support reputation management efforts in partnership with senior team members and cross-functional stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with global communications teams to localize enterprise initiatives for the Americas
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in corporate communications, public relations, journalism or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of communications (or related experience) in a fast-paced, high-performing organization.
- Knowledge of AI tools and interest in leveraging them for stronger communications outcomes.
- Passion for distilling complex information into compelling, concise content and produce targeted materials for a variety of audiences.
- Proven attention to detail and accuracy, even when managing multiple projects at once.
- Strong time management and organizational skills; be self-motivated, agile, and proactive.
- Interest and flexibility to work with global stakeholders across time zones.
- Collaborative mindset that can work across brand, marketing, social, thought leadership, social impact and other global teams to achieve strong results.
- Willing to attend late-night and early-morning meetings as needed to collaborate with global teams.

Compensation
Our compensation philosophy reflects several principles. We strive to provide a competitive compensation package to attract and retain talent globally. We pay for performance, and reward sustainable results.
Total pay for this position comprises base pay and bonus. The anticipated base salary range for this role is between $80,000 and $130,000. Bonuses, which may form a meaningful proportion of the total pay package, are determined based on company and individual performance.
