Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Resilience
GIC is seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader representing Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Resilience (ICR) for the Americas, responsible for overseeing all technology and Cyber functions across North and South America.
What impact can you make in this role?
This senior leadership role will serve as the primary point of contact for all lines of business in the region, acting as the face of technology and the senior escalation point for Cybersecurity, application, infrastructure and end-user technology issues. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in either networks or end-user technology while possessing a comprehensive understanding of all technology functions within the region.
What will you do as SVP, Service Enablement Business Partner, Americas?
- Leadership and Strategy: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the ICR teams in the Americas, ensuring alignment with global objectives and regional business needs. Will act as a conduit between Americas and the Headquarter in Singapore and help drive ICR strategic initiatives in the location. Help business in Americas to build strategic program awareness.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between regional business units and global functional leads, effectively communicating business requirements and escalating issues as necessary. This role will also serve as a global conduit between the Public Markets Global team and ICR. Build a deep understanding of the business unit’s strategy, change agenda, and future-state technology needs. Engage early with business sponsors to shape demand before it becomes formalized project or BAU work.
- Team Oversight: Oversee teams based in Americas, ensuring high-quality end-user support, infrastructure escalations, cybersecurity operations, and application support across the region. Provide regular updates and dashboards to the business on key infrastructure programs, capacity risks, service changes, or ongoing project impacts. Participate in governance meetings representing both business and ICR perspectives.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Leverage deep expertise in networks or end-user technology to guide teams in resolving complex technical issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Influence global vendors headquartered in Americas to help drive improved engagement and faster incident resolution.
- Operational Excellence: Implement best practices and standardized processes to enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction across all technology functions. Escalate roadblocks, risks, or process breakdowns, acting as a neutral facilitator between business and infrastructure.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team performance, service quality, and overall effectiveness in meeting business needs.
- Collaboration with Global Teams: Collaborate closely with global functional leads based in Singapore HQ to ensure seamless communication and alignment on technology initiatives and projects. Drive root cause analysis for issues impacting the business with longer term permanent fixes via the functional teams in Singapore.
What makes you a successful candidate?
Experience & Track Record
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in technology management, with a strong expertise in infrastructure and end-user technology.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in a complex, global environment. Beneficial to have expertise in working in remote locations and working collaboratively with HQ teams across time zones.
- Strong subject matter expertise in either networks or end-user technology, with a comprehensive understanding of related functions. Having a Cybersecurity background would be a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Experience in managing service delivery and support functions, with a customer-centric approach.

- Understand GIC business mode, Business Units, GIC strategy with a broad understanding of Business Operations and markets for their global structure of the aligned business unit.
- Requires sound understanding of GICs competitive landscape, to drive conversations with business stakeholders.

- Proactively fostering relationships with internal stakeholders to be able to lead, drive and influence changes, understanding current competitive landscape.

- Understand stakeholders needs and ICR drivers to be able to prioritize and push back if needed, while being the liaison to drive ICR/TG agenda with the business.
- Be the point person for ICR escalations for BAU to help internal stakeholders drive on their behalf.
- Understand and anticipate stakeholders' needs and help lead change-management initiatives for them.
- Drive practices and initiatives that allow business to achieve value both for business and for ICR/TG.
- Viewed as a trusted advisor to the senior business representatives to help convey messages or drive and influence both ways.
- Able to structure presentations to understand the business audience and be able to adapt and respond to influence and drive.
Critical/Analytical thinking
- Understand not just their own area of expertise but understand the overall TG/ICR strategy and be able to represent ICR to the stakeholders.
- Able to clearly understand and articulate ICR strategic requirements to the stakeholders for all ICR.
- Able to provide a macro-overview of everything in ICR and identify opportunities, recommend and help drive value added solutions.
- Lead and coach other ICR SEBPs as well as senior leads on business priorities.

Compensation
Our compensation philosophy reflects several principles. We strive to provide a competitive compensation package to attract and retain talent globally. We pay for performance, and reward sustainable results.
Total pay for this position comprises base pay and bonus. The anticipated base salary range for this role is between USD240,000 to USD280,000.
Bonuses, which may form a meaningful proportion of the total pay package, are determined based on company and individual performance.
