Bridge Forum Business Development Contract - 6 months

The Bridge Forum is a unique experience designed to guide GIC and EDB’s business partners through tech disruption. The Bridge Forum thoughtfully convene global business leaders and tech trailblazers to connect, share exclusive insights, and problem-solve through immersive one-on-one meetings.  

 

The Business Development initiative creates commercial and strategic partnership opportunities for the Bridge Forum’s strategic and financial partners. Through these efforts, the team strives to support fast growing technology companies in their pursuit of product-market-fit and commercialization at scale. 

 

We are looking for someone with a strong passion to accelerate the impact of new technologies in the global landscape. As an Intern, you will be responsible for (1) supporting GIC’s start-up company relationships with key go-to-market initiatives, (2) supporting TIG professionals with expanding the enterprise network of Global 2000 and top startup and business leaders, and (3) generating market development opportunities for strategic partners. 

 

To join our team, you will be provided opportunities to: 

  • Gain exposure to venture capital and technology growth investing 

  • Meet entrepreneurs, founders, and C-level executives as part of the team’s efforts to build bilateral relationships  

  • Analyze given vertical industries and identify targets and white space for growth opportunities 

  • Outbound to companies globally to schedule curation calls which lead to executive briefings with Bridge Forum’s strategic partners 

  • Manage curation calls and take notes during briefings, and note key takeaways 

  • Create briefing agendas and run reports in a relationship management database to support the team 

  • Create briefing prep documents before key meetings 

  • Collaborate with teammates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment 

  • Collaborate with the GIC Communications team on overall Bridge Forum brand initiatives, including panels, executive workshops, and networking receptions 

 

Candidate background:  

 

  • Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university 

  • 2+ years of experience with passion for technology, finance, business development, or strategic partnerships  

  • Excellent presence and communication skills, both written and verbal 

  • Team player and enjoys working in a collaborative environment 

  • Highly motivated self-starter and able to work independently  

  • Proven interest in technology
