GIC's Technology Investment Group (TIG) manages most of GIC’s early stage investments, through venture capital funds, co-investments, and direct investments. TIG is a global team with presence in Silicon Valley, New York, and India.

Bridge Forum
The Bridge Forum is GIC's business development platform, which connects the world’s most innovative early stage technology companies with our partners around the world. Through 1:1 connections, C-level and Founder-led events, dinners, social gatherings, and executive briefings, we convene our network to accelerate critical technology initiatives. Our mission is to drive innovation, evolved ways of thinking, and to be meaningful thought partners in accelerating digital transformation.
The Bridge Forum Summit is our annual, invite-only conference that explores emerging technologies, tech-forward ways of thinking, and brings together participants from all over the world. All attendees and invitees are global, C-level decision makers.

What impact can you make in this role?
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, self-starting Business Development hire to join our diverse, global team focused on venture and growth investing to elevate the Bridge Forum into the world’s leading platform for high-impact business connections.
The role involves building and cultivating strategic partnerships for GIC’s portfolio companies, which are high-growth technology businesses in pursuit of a variety of commercialization and expansion goals.
As a member of this team, you will (1) support our global business development efforts, especially in the US and Asia, (2) work with the GIC ecosystem of portfolio companies on domestic and international go-to-market and other strategic initiatives, (3) expand our enterprise network of senior executives from the Global 2000 and other leading companies, and (4) generate market development opportunities for strategic GIC partners and portfolio companies.
You will have the opportunity to be immersed in a global technology investing team that has partnered with disruptive companies such as Anthropic, Databricks, Stripe, DoorDash, Affirm, Ramp, Rippling, ClickHouse, Snowflake, Notion, and more.
What will you do as a VP?
As a VP, you will lead strategic relationship development and ecosystem engagement across the global technology landscape. You will own key partnerships, drive business development initiatives, and represent the firm externally with senior technology leaders and enterprise executives. You will also mentor junior team members and shape the team’s strategic priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead relationship-building efforts with Founders, CEOs, and senior executives from leading technology companies.
- Drive engagement with Fortune 2000 executives (CIOs, CTOs, CFOs) through high-impact technology discussions and strategic initiatives.
- Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities across verticals, shaping the firm’s technology engagement strategy.
- Oversee and guide the planning and execution of ecosystem events, including executive briefings, dinners, and roundtables.
- Lead outbound initiatives to develop new relationships globally and expand the firm’s technology network.
- Synthesize market insights and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making and investment perspectives.
- Oversee the preparation of briefing materials and ensure high-quality client and partner interactions.
- Manage and mentor junior team members, fostering professional development and collaboration.
- Partner closely with investment and platform teams to align relationship-building with broader strategic goals.
What qualifications or skills should you possess?
- 8+ years of experience in a senior partner- or client-facing role (e.g., business development, partnerships, venture capital, platform, or technology strategy).
- Proven track record of owning and managing executive-level relationships and driving strategic outcomes.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, with experience managing or guiding teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with executive presence.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and influence outcomes across complex stakeholder groups.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and deep passion for technology, innovation, and ecosystem building.
- Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Compensation
Our compensation philosophy reflects several principles. We strive to provide a competitive compensation package to attract and retain talent globally. We pay for performance, and reward sustainable results. Total pay for this position comprises base pay and bonus. The anticipated base salary range for this role is between $150,000 and $220,000. Bonuses, which may form a meaningful proportion of the total pay package, are determined based on company and individual performance.
