Enterprise and Data Technology
Enterprise & Data Technology builds and advances the technology that underpins our enterprise and data capabilities. It brings together our core technology and data experts to design and deliver platforms for integration, analytics, and innovation. As part of Corporate Technology, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our technology team supporting the delivery and ongoing management of HR technology solutions. You will have primary responsibility for HR applications supporting Talent and Workforce Management, and Learning & Development, while also playing an active role in delivering broader HR transformation initiatives. This includes supporting enterprise technology implementations, sourcing and vendor engagements and data initiatives.
Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and external partners, you will translate business needs into practical technology solutions, coordinate end-to-end delivery, and ensure solutions remain secure, resilient and well-managed.
This role is suited for someone who combines strong business analysis skills with hands-on technology delivery, vendor management and the ability to work across multiple initiatives in a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership & Analysis
- Partner closely with HR and other business stakeholders to understand business priorities, challenges and technology needs.
- Translate business requirements into clear solution requirements, delivery scope and actionable outcomes.
- Facilitate requirements gathering, process analysis and solution discussions across business and technology teams.
- Evaluate solution options and provide recommendations that balance business value, delivery complexity and enterprise technology considerations.
- Communicate delivery progress, risks, dependencies and recommendations clearly to business and technology stakeholders.
Project & Solution Delivery
- Drive the end-to-end technology delivery of assigned projects, enhancements and transformation initiatives.
- Support major HR transformation programmes, working across business teams, technology functions, implementation partners and vendors to coordinate successful delivery.
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks and actions for assigned technology workstreams.
- Coordinate solution design, testing, implementation, cutover and transition into production.
- Proactively identify delivery risks, dependencies and blockers and drive them to resolution.
- Ensure technology deliverables are completed to the required quality and aligned with agreed business outcomes.
Technology Sourcing & Vendor Management
- Support technology sourcing activities including Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), vendor evaluations and implementation partner selection.
- Work with business stakeholders and Procurement to define requirements, evaluate proposals and support vendor selection.
- Review Statements of Work, proposals, estimates and delivery plans to ensure scope, deliverables, assumptions and responsibilities are clearly defined.
- Manage implementation and managed service partners, tracking delivery quality, service performance, risks and improvement actions.
- Support vendor governance and commercial discussions throughout the technology lifecycle.
Platform & Operational Management
- Support the ongoing delivery and operational management of assigned platforms, including technology supporting Workforce Planning and Learning & Development.
- Manage enhancement demand, delivery backlogs, releases and platform lifecycle activities.
- Coordinate incidents, problems and changes with internal technology teams and external service providers.
- Drive continuous improvement of services, processes and user experience.
- Support internal and external digital portals enabling learning, onboarding, and collaboration with external partners
Data & Enterprise Technology Initiatives
- Support HR data and analytics initiatives in partnership with enterprise Data and Engineering teams.
- Represent business and application requirements in enterprise data initiatives, including data integration, testing and business validation.
- Contribute to broader Corporate Technology initiatives involving platform simplification, automation, AI and technology modernisation.
- Take on other selected technology initiatives as needed, aligned to business priorities.
Technology Governance, Risk & Security
- Coordinate with Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Infrastructure and other technology teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards.
- Support technology risk management, cybersecurity remediation, audit activities and operational resilience requirements.
- Ensure assigned applications and projects comply with relevant technology governance and change management requirements.
- Proactively identify technology and delivery risks and coordinate appropriate mitigation actions.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Approximately 5–8 years of experience in business analysis, technology delivery or enterprise applications within complex organisations.
- Demonstrated experience delivering technology projects from requirements through implementation and transition to production.
- Experience working with enterprise SaaS or HR technology is advantageous.
- Experience supporting technology sourcing activities such as RFIs, RFPs, vendor evaluations and Statements of Work is advantageous.
- Experience managing implementation partners or managed service providers.
- Good understanding of enterprise applications, system integrations and technology delivery lifecycle.
- Strong business analysis, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively across both project delivery and ongoing platform responsibilities.
- Hands-on, collaborative and proactive approach to delivery.
