Fixed Income & Multi Asset
Our team employs a broad range of investment strategies, encompassing macro, credit, and quantitative investing. The Investment universe is global and spans multiple sectors, including interest rates, currencies, credit, securitized products, equities, and commodities.
What impact can you make in this role?
The Business Management team sits at the core of FIMA COO’s Office. It plays a vital role in project management, resource allocation, and strategic oversight of the daily operations of FIMA’s businesses globally. In this specific role, you will directly support the Portfolio Solutions & Risk team within FIMA CIO’s Office in its oversight of the department’s portfolio construction, capital allocation and investment risk management functions.
What will you do as an AVP in the Business Management team?
- Take the lead in the development and execution of business plans and strategic change initiatives, from initiation to post-implementation review.
- Proactively design and effectuate process improvements to drive efficiency gains by streamlining workflows and system deployments.
- Collaborate with corporate and investment services functions (including operations, risk, technology, legal & compliance) to ensure robust governance controls.
- Ensure operational and other non-investment risks are continuously identified, analysed, and mitigated, and that incidents are promptly remediated.
- Partner with other FIMA colleagues to ensure smooth continuity of daily business and operations for the department and wider organization.
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
- Degree in Business or a related discipline with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience which demonstrates your commitment to excellence.
- Proven experience in project management, operations, and/or risk management, and confidence in stakeholder engagement.
- Strong team player with good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills that will help drive impactful results.
- Ability to think and plan strategically, make well-informed decisions grounded in fact, and to apply sound judgment at all times.
- Strong resilience and adaptability, with a sense of urgency, who seeks out a challenging fast-paced working environment.
