You will drive employee experience, operational efficiency, and robust downstream data, through designing and implementation strong digital processes.

What will you do as a Digital HR practitioner?

This is a valuable opportunity for a passionate Digital HR practitioner to join a hybrid People Analytics and (Digital) Solutions team. The team’s twofold mandate includes driving People Analytics & the Digital HR agenda at GIC. What success looks like for this role – creating greater operational efficiency and business impact through accurate resource planning and simulation. 

 

60% responsibility – Internal Planning consultant 

  • Build, enhance and trouble-shoot, planning models for compensation planning, workforce planning, and other resource planning, using Anaplan or other planning platform. 

  • Act as a business analyst to clearly understand project objectives and problem statements directly from business users. Identify and implement practical solutions to constraints (e.g., process or data related constraints etc) in the model design and build.  

  • Bring a product owner mindset and be an end-to-end owner of such planning and simulation models – ensure the model is fit for purpose, e.g. easy to use, incorporates the right variables and assumptions, and has the right sensitivity to changes in underlying variables. 

  • Play the role of a communicator to Technology teams to get their support on platform management, platform security etc. 

  • Understand different HR systems and processes, to design how best they should interact with the planning platform. 

  • Act as a project manager to manage the design, test, and roll out of new models/ model enhancements. 

 

40% responsibility – Internal People Analytics consultant 

  • Analyze and interpret large data sets, with a focus on producing actionable insight for people development. 

  • Design intuitive, self-service dashboards on Tableau to generate insights that drive action for HR, larger business leaders and senior management. 

  • Effectively story-tell with data to non-technical audiences. 

 

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

  • Degree in Statistics, Computing, Design or Technology. 

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in building planning and simulation models, on Anaplan or similar planning tools, in HR, Finance or other domains.  

  • Strong working experience with tools like SQL, Python, R etc in data manipulation. 

  • Experience in creating solutions with the right user-experience. 

  • Effective team player who is independent, keen to learn, and with strong analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Resourceful, adaptable and resilient to evolving changes and challenges. 

  • Displays leadership and influence, as an individual contributor to drive delivery with partners. 

  • Candidates with the following skills/experience have an edge:  

    • Prior working experience on Anaplan

    • Process Design, process re-engineering or digital design experience in any field
