Corporate Affairs & Communications

The Corporate Affairs and Communications team is responsible for managing corporate affairs, branding and reputation, and all internal and external communications. It is GIC’s interface with key stakeholders, including the general public and media.  


We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our Communications team as AVP, Employee Communications. The successful candidate will work alongside senior management to provide leadership communications, and support change management across the organisation.




  • Develop a good understanding of the business' strategic goals and ground sentiments, and translate that knowledge into clear and compelling communications.
  • Define stakeholders' communications requirements and provide them with advice and counsel.
  • Support the Head, Corporate Affairs & Communications on implementing leadership communications, employee engagement & CSR programmes.
  • Lead junior colleagues and manage external suppliers on the creation of content and timely delivery of key communications activities.



  • The ideal candidate would have at least 5 to 6 years of experience in a range of communications disciplines with global organisations, including in a dedicated internal/ employee communications role.
  • Ability to build an effective network of contacts across the organisation with proven track record in successfully influencing, managing and persuading stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyse and synthesise insights from multiple sources into views on communications approach and recommendations on channels & messaging.
  • Familiarity with Yammer and/or Workplace, and other social media channels
  • Excellent writing skills for a variety of audiences, channels and leadership styles
