The Human Resource & Organization Department champions the people agenda for GIC. We invest in talent and organization development, to maximize potential of our people for long term sustainable performance. We are organized by strategic HR domains and work in partnership with business groups to manage talent and build impactful teams. Our HR domains are: Rewards and Engagement, Talent & Organization, GIC School, Talent Acquisition, Graduate Recruitment, HR Business Partnership, and HR Operations & Solutions.


You will be part of the HR Business Partnering team, responsible for supporting the human resource initiatives of the Division/Department/Company that you are assigned to. You will work together with senior HR Business Partners and act as a consultant for management on all issues related to people. As you develop more business understanding & judgment, you will deal directly with the managers of the assigned business group. There is an art and science to this role. You are expected to be a proactive communicator and change agent, who can successfully balance employee needs with business objectives to create integrated solutions. You are also expected to contribute to policy formulation, as well as assist management to communicate and implement policies that will lead to increasing employee engagement and desired business outcomes.



Responsibilities - You will work with senior HR Business Partners to:


  • Promote and execute HR initiatives in partnership with policy/ program teams in talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, rewards and recognition.
  • Help business groups to drive people agenda and initiatives to meet future business goals. Serve as the interface representing business needs to the wider HR community
  • Partner with policy/ program teams and line managers to acquire and induct new hires, so as to enable business teams to have future-ready capabilities and a strong bench of talent.
  • Work with the GIC School and line managers to encourage the growth and career development of staff through the talent development framework / programs
  • Support annual performance appraisal exercise, salary and bonus reviews, including facilitating any transition management if required.
  • Provide regular feedback on employee engagement from the ground and other channels including workplace surveys, as part of wider culture building efforts.
  • Resolve employee relations issues and support line managers in conflict resolution and grievance management, in compliance with labor regulations and market best practices.



  • Mature, results-oriented professional committed to delivering robust and proactive HR practices in a fast-paced environment
  • At least 5 to 8 years of HR experience ideally gained in multinational companies
  • Able to think strategically, analyse issues and recommend appropriate course of actions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the temperament and skills to build relationships with both staff and management
  • Exercises good judgment and is resourceful, able to deal effectively with a variety of challenging situations
  • Self-starter and able to work independently while being a team player
