The Human Resource & Organization Department champions the people agenda for GIC. We are organized by strategic HR domains and work in partnership with business groups to manage talent and build impactful teams. Our HR domains are: Rewards & Talent Strategies, GIC School, Talent Acquisition, Graduate Recruitment, HR Business Partnership, People Operations & Advisory  and People Analytics & Solutions.


This is a valuable opportunity for a passionate analytics practitioner to join a growing people analytics team. You will have the opportunity to impact the people analytics & solutions teams’ agenda at GIC and join a team with an established roadmap of impactful projects.



People Analytics

  • Analyze and interpret large data sets, trends and results, with a focus on producing insight driven and actionable products for HR and organisational development
  • Create and customize self-service Tableau dashboards to generate actionable insights for HR stakeholders and senior management
  • Leverage advanced analytics techniques (e.g., regression analysis, classification and clustering, predictive modeling, organizational network analysis) & able to explain methodology and outcomes to non-technical stakeholders
  • Partner closely with stakeholders (e.g., HR leadership, GIC management) to understand business challenges and develop appropriate analytics solutions to address them
  • Bring together and rationalize data from the different HR centres of excellence and GIC business groups to evaluate talent holistically.
  • Understand, leverage and integrate existing HR systems, while bringing in new techniques and technologies to enable analysis, workforce planning and predictive analytics
  • Participate in specific white paper studies and special projects, as needed



  • Partner with HR stakeholders to review and improve business processes
  • Act as business analyst and manage the design, testing and roll out of new system, upgrades and enhancement change requests for HR systems.  Lead the testing, training and communication for system changes
  • Work with IT partners to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve production issues on a timely basis
  • Manage integrity of HR systems and data, including audit and permission control
  • Key point of contact for system integrations



  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in support or implementation of HRIS systems
  • Excellent knowledge in HR domain and processes
  • Experience in SAP SuccessFactors or similar system
  • Passion for using data and connecting the dots to generate strategic insights that translate into value and application for business stakeholders
  • Forward thinking and interest in keeping up to date with developments and best practices in the analytics industry
  • Agility to adapt tactics and tools used to a given situation


Advantageous to have

  • Adept in using Alteryx for ETL activities
  • Familiarity with Anaplan platform, to build HR related applications
  • Intermediate knowledge in Python having used Python for scripting, transformation and analysis of data
  • Certification in Tableau (Desktop Certified Associate or Desktop Certified Professional)
  • Strong SQL skills for data wrangling, querying and transformation with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.
