Risk and Performance Management Department (RPMD)

In Risk & Performance Management Department (RPMD), we work collaboratively across teams to identify and address potential blind spots, ensuring that all relevant risks are considered and duly addressed.


Risk Infrastructure
You will be part of a team that deploys state-of-the-art data and systems required for all aspects of risk and performance analysis and reporting.

 

What impact can you make in this role?

The Project & Data Enablement Analyst will support both the Risk Infrastructure and Data Enablement (RIDE) strategy initiative and broader departmental projects and new initiatives.


A key part of this role is to understand investment and risk-related data used across the organization, enabling the candidate to act as an effective partner to risk users and a strong support to the RIDE lead.

This role combines data enablement, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and project management to strengthen how RPMD organizes and manages data and initiatives.

What will you do as an Analyst in the Risk Infrastructure team?

A. Data & Documentation Enablement (Risk / Investment Data Focus)

  • Maintain and enhance documentation for application and data assets (applications, data ownership, dashboards, reports etc) under RPMD
  • Support creation of Living Knowledge Artifacts capturing system background, data definitions, usage patterns, lineage, and user groups.
  • Understand and document investment data used by the RPMD, such as market reference data, investment book of records, risk and performance analytics
  • Ensure clarity and accuracy of data definitions, data usage, and data flows used across teams in RPMD

B. Data Governance & Quality Support

  • Support data readiness activities for enterprise data platforms, mapping risk and investment data, validating metadata, tracking issues, and managing follow-ups.
  • Work with Technology and Enterprise Data teams to ensure RPMD data requirements are addressed and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Help prepare materials related to data quality and data ownership to facilitate data governance efforts.

 

C. Project Management & Coordination

  • Develop and maintain business project plans, timelines, trackers, dashboards, and workstream artefacts.
  • Structure new business initiatives by defining scope, deliverables, documentation needs, and governance forums.
  • Organize meetings, workshops, and reviews, drive action follow-ups and progress tracking.
  • Support consistent business project organization across teams in RPMD.

 

D. Stakeholder & User Engagement

  • Engage risk system analysts, risk managers, investment operations, and other data users to understand data needs and challenges.
  • Work closely with SMEs to capture business requirements and translate them into structured documentation.
  • Prepare communication materials, updates, briefing notes, and project presentations for management.

 

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role? 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information/Data Management, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with investment or financial data is required
  • Project management qualification is strongly preferred, such as PMP, Agile/Scrum certification
  • 3–6 years’ experience in project coordination, PMO, business analysis, or data-related roles.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to “connect the dots” across data sources and stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of data concepts (data usage, lineage, metadata, data quality).
  • Proficiency with O365 applications, Confluence, Jira, or similar tools.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, accountability and ownership mindset.
  • Ability to collaborate across business and technology teams and manage multiple parallel workstreams.
