You will be part of a team that champions the people agenda for GIC.

 

What will you do as a RewardStrategies practitioner?

This team is responsible for the design and implementation of GIC’s compensation, benefits, wellness, and performance management policies globally and across all business units. We are seeking an individual with the expertise and innovation to propose and execute policy changes, excellent communication skills to interact with senior stakeholders, and strong attention to detail. This is an individual contributor role and will be reporting to the Head of Reward Strategies.

 

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to provide guidance and implement feasible solutions for the business on matters related to compensation, benefits, wellness and performance management
  • Partnering across HR with other teams (including graduate recruiting, people operations, and people analytics, etc) to ensure a seamless execution of HR services to employees
  • Assist with structuring lateral hire compensation offers including valuing deferred compensation buyouts
  • Conduct market analysis, job evaluations, compensation modeling, and diagnostics on an as-needed basis
  • Support the year-end compensation process end-to-end, including the annual benchmarking exercise, salary planning, spend analysis and pool generation/modelling
  • Keep abreast of the latest news as it relates to compensation, benefits, wellness and performance management practices
  • Manage multiple projects across multiple teams within HR and across departments

 

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, finance or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in compensation, including salary and incentive compensation, market surveys, analysis, research and modelling
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills
  • Excellent MS Excel skills
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills and has the ability to influence decisions
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Knowledge of financial services industry would be a strong asset
