You will find, assess, and hire candidates to fill open positions within GIC.

What will you do as a Talent Acquisition practitioner?
This position is offered as a 2-year fixed-term contract to align with our mid-term business objectives. Continued opportunities beyond this period remain discretionary and are dependent on evolving organizational needs and individual contributions.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for experienced hires in Technology across core technology disciplines and adjacent delivery functions - managing each search from intake through to offer and close
- Beyond technology, you will support mandates across Front office, Middle Office, and Corporate Services if and when required.
- Partner with hiring managers as a trusted advisor - running structured intake sessions, defining ideal candidate success profiles, and keeping panels calibrated to a shared definition of good.
- Build and nurture proactive talent pipelines through direct sourcing, headhunting, strategic partnerships, and networking - engaging both active and passive candidates in a competitive market.
- Translate technical requirements into clear sourcing strategies and assess candidates credibly on both technical competency and team fit.
- Leverage data and recruiting analytics - pipeline conversion, time-to-fill, sourcing effectiveness - to shape hiring strategies and continually review process efficiency.
- Champion an exceptional candidate experience at every stage, while strengthening our employer brand in the technology talent market.
- Stay ahead of market developments, technology talent trends, and the broader employment landscape
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
- 6 to 9 years of search firm and/or in-house recruiting experience, with a strong track record in Technology recruitment - ideally within areas such as Engineering, Functional, Infrastructure, and Cyber mandates.
- A genuine openness and enthusiasm to expand into other areas of recruitment, such as Front Office, Middle Office, or Corporate Services roles.
- Sound technical acumen - enough familiarity with engineering, infrastructure, and cyber roles and tech stacks to screen credibly and hold informed conversations with candidates and hiring leaders.
- Strong relationship management, candidate assessment, and structured interviewing skills.
- Proven sourcing expertise across LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, job boards, and direct outreach to engage passive talent.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (SuccessFactors, SmartRecruiters, etc) and recruiting-related tools
- Demonstrated success in driving diversity recruiting initiatives.
- A curious, consultative, and collaborative mindset with a passion for connecting great talent with meaningful opportunities.
