The Human Resource & Organization Department champions the people agenda for GIC. We have an exciting opportunity to join the Graduate Recruitment team as an Assistant Vice President (Programme Lead). The Graduate Recruitment team is responsible for the recruitment of junior talents joining the organization, managed through our scholarship, internship, and graduate programmes. This role is a pivotal position within the team, overseeing the full-cycle of recruitment and programme management of our new graduates and intern candidates. This includes driving recruitment strategies, events and campaigns, as well as managing the internship and graduation programmes through active engagement with our key business and HR stakeholders, and external partners, including universities and other related associations.  

 

This position is based in Singapore and will cover global graduate recruitment across our key markets. Working in a lively team environment, you’ll have the opportunity to make an impact and demonstrate the skills and passion you have to offer.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive full-scale global recruitment efforts for GIC’s internship/graduate programmes, including sourcing, attracting and assessing junior talents
  • Partner key internal business leaders and HR stakeholders to define business needs, and provide advisory on hiring and internship conversion decisions to meet overall business objectives
  • Adopt innovative and business specific programme hiring, marketing and assessment strategies, where required, to achieve optimal hiring outcomes
  • Active programme management, which includes managing onboarding, informal/formal training plans and ongoing performance feedback conversations, to ensure consistent and positive intern/graduate engagement
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with key external stakeholders, including university career centers, student clubs, associations and alumni 
  • Partner our Employer Branding team in designing and implementing campus recruitment employer branding efforts and activities, to drive greater brand awareness and the employee value proposition of GIC 
  • Analyse data to develop insights and drive more effective recruitment/assessment/programme management and process related initiatives 

 

Requirements

  • Degree holder with around 4 to 6 years of relevant HR experience
  • Understanding of mid-office functions, specifically Technology and Investment Operations hiring is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ambitious, independent, self-motivated, and resourceful
  • Strong assessment acumen to identify top tier talents
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively, and adapt quickly to new or changing circumstances 
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact well with a variety of different audiences, and build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Data driven, with strong attention to detail
