What impact can you make in this role?
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to support a suite of Risk and Compliance (R&C) platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Risk and Compliance platforms such Archer, ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management platform, etc. and a strong background in business analysis, process improvement, and stakeholder management. 

 

What will you do as a Business Analyst?

  •  Business Analysis: 
    • Gather and document business requirements for R&C systems. 

    • Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for process improvement and optimization. 

    • Translate business needs into technical specifications and user stories. 

      
  • Stakeholder Management: 
    • Engage with key stakeholders across various corporate services business domains including Legal, Compliance, Audit and Risk teams
    • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and provide regular project updates.
    • Develop and deliver regular status reports to internal and business stakeholders. 

 

  • Process Improvement: 

    • Analyze and map current business processes, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement. 
    • Design and implement optimized workflows and processes within the respective R&C systems. 
    • Ensure alignment with business requirements, security framework, enterprise architecture framework, and service delivery best practices. 

 

  • Technical Capabilities: 
    • Collaborate with technical teams to design and manage the system architecture for R&C solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
    • Assist in developing and managing integration strategies relating to SaaS and cloud applications.

    • Support the design and implementation of a common data layer across R&C platforms. 

 

  • Documentation and SOPs: 
    • Maintain and develop process documentation and standard operational procedures for the R&C platforms. 
    • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders. 

 

What makes you a successful candidate?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within IT lifecycle support and ITSM. 
  • Strong experience with R&C platforms, particularly Atlassian, ServiceNow, or BMC. 
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment. 
  • Strong advocate for automation with a passion for implementing new technologies. 
  • Excellent team player with the ability to influence others. 
  • Experienced in project management and project governance, with a strong track record of successful project delivery. 
  • Knowledgeable in agile and product management governance frameworks. 
  • Financial skills and knowledge in terms of understanding budgets and reporting. 
  • Knowledge of the business cycle, including the budgeting process, with great organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Experience/certification with one or more project management and business analysis methodologies. 
  • Knowledge of change management is preferred. 
  • Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Clarity, Primavera, Planview). 
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools is a plus (e.g., Tableau, MS Power BI). 
  • Good communication and engagement skills with the ability to develop and communicate the team’s vision and inspire and motivate change. 
  • Skilled at managing business and IT stakeholder groups with tact, assertiveness, and diplomacy. 
  • Strong sense of urgency, able to manage and prioritize day-to-day workload to ensure maximum efficiencies are gained. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Experience in technology operations, incident and problem management relating to R&C systems. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with business analysis for R&C products that supports Compliance Control and Regulatory Advisory functions including Employee Compliance, Personal Investments, Financial Crime Compliance, etc.  

  • Experience with business analysis for cloud-based SaaS technologies and solutions (AWS, Azure). 

  • ITIL certification. 

  • Familiarity with corporate services business domains (Risk, Compliance, Legal, Audit, etc.). 

  • Financial industry experience is a plus.
