Public Equities
We generate sustainable, superior returns through active investments across global equity markets. Strategies include relative return strategies, absolute return strategies, and quantitative strategies.
Investment Services Management
You will be given the opportunity to work with multiple strategy heads to help execute new strategies, refine existing ones, and actively drive process improvements across to continuously improve the service offering. You will also help to provide support for pivotal initiatives across the organisation, leading all aspects of governance and controls, and partner in platform and programme rollouts as well as perform general business management functions such as resource prioritisation and planning. Our Sustainability team focuses on integrating environmental, social and governance into GIC’s investment portfolios.
What impact can you make in this role?
You will be part of a team that is an integrated investment service team that partners the business in providing services to support public markets investment.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Functional Business Analyst to join us as an Assistant Vice President/Vice President. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of equities research and portfolio management related processes. The candidate will be responsible for providing support in all aspects of business analysis, including requirements gathering, process mapping, system design, testing, and implementation.
What will you do as an AVP/VP, Functional Business Analyst?
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and user stories
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, and test plans
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to identify business needs and document functional requirements
- Analyze business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement
- Develop process maps and workflows to illustrate current and future states
- Work with developers or vendors to design and implement solutions that meet business needs
- Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements
- Provide training and support to end-users
- Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders
- Participate in project planning and prioritization activities
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in a financial services environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio and Excel
- Experience with SQL and data analysis tools is a plus
