AVP/VP, Portfolio Manager - Cross Asset Implementation, Portfolio Engineering & Solutions

Portfolio Execution & Solutions Group​

We have teams in Singapore, London and New York, and we provide a full spectrum of services for the Total Portfolio. These include trading and structured advisory, funding and liquidity management, securities lending, beta management, portfolio rebalancing, applied quantitative research, and counterparty relationship management. We also deliver systematic portfolio solutions and innovation, such as portfolio construction techniques and tail-risk management, to strengthen total portfolio construction and resilience.

Portfolio Engineering & Solutions

You will be part of a team that engineers systematic, cross-asset solutions with a Total Portfolio and ownership mindset. The team comprises Portfolio Construction & Convexity, EQ Solutions, Cross-Asset Solutions and Solutions Research.

What will you do as a Cross-Asset Implementation Portfolio Manager?

• Contribute to research to design, enhance and validate medium- to high-capacity systematic trading strategies across multiple asset classes.
• Advance implementation research and develop solutions for multi-asset strategies and instruments.
• Perform portfolio management tasks including strategy rebalancing, position monitoring and risk management.
• Develop and improve our processes for portfolio management and implementation strategy across different financial instruments and investment vehicles, ensuring they can scale while maintaining risk controls.
• Work closely with senior portfolio managers, researchers, trading and technologists to integrate models into production and enhance investment workflows and processes.

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

• At least 3–5 years of experience in quantitative research, trading and/or portfolio management in macro/cross-asset markets.
• Financial knowledge and judgement, including knowledge of market microstructure, with a focus in fixed income and currency markets.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy across different portfolio types and activities.
• Technical and coding skills, including proficiency in R or Python.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, including presenting strategies and explaining ideas coherently.
