What impact can you make in this role?
As an AI Product Manager at GIC, you will play a pivotal role in refining and executing GIC’s AI strategy. You will work closely with leadership to oversee the development and deployment of Generative AI (GenAI) and Machine Learning products and platforms, ensuring they align with our business goals and needs to drive significant business impact and improve investment decision making. You will work closely with leadership to execute our enterprise AI strategy, enabling GIC to harness AI capabilities effectively. Additionally, you will collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to define product features and manage the AI product lifecycle from inception to deployment and beyond.
What will you do as a Product Manager (AI Products)?
- Define and execute enterprise AI strategy for GIC through a clear understanding of the market, customer needs, and business goals
- Engage with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements. Communicate product updates, progress, and challenges effectively, managing expectations and addressing concerns
- Define AI product requirements by translating business goals into actionable product requirements through close collaboration with stakeholders, data scientists, and engineers
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from prioritization, planning and development, to deployment and updates through close partnership with engineering, data science, cybersecurity, and business
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends and opportunities relevant to an institutional investor like GIC
What makes you a successful candidate?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or related field
- 8-10 years in a product management role, preferably in the technology or finance industry
- Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing technologies, with experience of applying them to real-world problems
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects
- Technical proficiency with AI frameworks and tools such as Langchain, PyTorch, or scikit-learn is preferred
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Passion for innovation and driving positive change through technology
