Technology Group
We experiment, design, and lead a 24×7 global business where we support core capabilities in asset management, trading, investment operations, and risk management. We deliver secure, reliable, and integrated solutions, and provide insights on new, and emerging technologies. 

Business Partner & Solutions
You will help to explore new, and existing technology to support our strategic, and operational business needs across our Public Markets, Private Markets, Total Portfolio Risk, Digital Enterprise Services, and Enterprise Solutions.

What will you do as a Software Engineer, Digital Platform Engineer?

As an engineer on the Digital Business Platforms team, you will create synergies across business domains, reducing duplication and enabling product teams to focus on business value. By maintaining a unified platform, you'll drive efficiency and innovation across the organization.

• Develop and implement creative solutions to challenging technical and business problems
• Evaluate and contribute to the improvement of existing digital platforms
• Lead the execution of new projects and initiatives, ensuring they align with our strategic goals
• Work closely with various business units, roles, and responsibilities to create cohesive and scalable digital solutions
• Be adaptable and ready to contribute to ongoing product deliveries and iterative improvements
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and contribute to the development of code quality standards and software best practices
• Mentor and coach junior team members to promote growth and learning
• Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure software solutions meet requirements and are delivered on time
• Research and evaluate new technologies and software solutions to drive innovation and continuous improvement
• Lead and contribute to software architecture and design decisions

What makes you a successful candidate?

• Proficiency in any one of the programming languages such as C# or JavaScript, with an understanding of object-oriented programming and extensive experience in AWS and cloud development
• Strong background in cloud architecture and expertise in CI/CD processes
• Proven hands-on experience in building scalable products or platforms from the ground up
• Ability to architect and plan delivery teams for highly scalable products
• Demonstrated experience in driving features from design to execution
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
• Proficiency in Git for branch management and collaboration
• Experience in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure high-quality software
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices for smooth code delivery
• Familiarity with OpenSearch and experience with Kafka or other messaging frameworks
