Investment Services Private Markets

 

The Investment Services Private Markets Department (ISPVM) is responsible for investment services for the private market across the GIC group. It is responsible for providing deal structuring and closing, portfolio monitoring, valuation, finance, operations, tax, data management and analytics services, in the execution of private market investments in Real Estate, Private Equity, Private Credits and Infrastructure. It is involved in financial reporting and accounting of investment holding companies, as well as operations and financial due diligence for asset operations.

 

We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our Finance & Accounting team as an Accounting Associate, Private Markets (2 year contract).

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Process vendor invoices, and update relevant data and transactions in the accounting and management system
  • Prepare KYC documents of investment holding companies as part of deal closing requirements
  • Corporate secretarial work relating to investment holding companies
  • Prepare bank and security reconciliations

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor in Accounting, Finance or relevant disciplines
  • At least 2 years relevant accounting work experience in the finance, accounting or private equity industry
  • Committed and motivated individuals who are meticulous, and enjoys working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and have practical working experience with accounting software systems
