Technology Group

Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Resilience (ICR)
We design, build, and secure the technology foundations that power GIC’s global investment operations. We aim to deliver resilient, scalable, and secure infrastructure that empowers our people and businesses to perform securely, efficiently, and effectively.
What will you do in Cybersecurity Platform Operations?
- Provide technical support for cybersecurity platforms managed by ICR, encompassing a wide range of devices and systems related to host security, network security, data protection, identity and access management, cloud security, application security, and security operations.
- Continuously monitor the availability of cybersecurity platforms and promptly address any service outages to ensure minimal disruption.
- Monitor for vulnerabilities, assess the impact of patches, and deploy patches to maintain the security and integrity of cybersecurity platforms.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to cybersecurity platforms, coordinate with vendors, and manage escalations as necessary to resolve complex problems.
- Manage cybersecurity platforms related incident and problem management tickets, analyze root causes, and propose enhancements to improve the overall security posture.
- Identify and recommend improvements for the support and maintenance of existing cybersecurity platforms, including standard operating procedure documentation creation/review, automation of manual repeatable tasks where technically feasible.
- Serve as a domain expert and trusted partner within ICR, collaborating closely with stakeholders in the Technology Group and Business Groups on matters related to cybersecurity platform support.
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the financial services or asset management industries, with a minimum of 2 years in Cyber Security or Information Security.
- Hands-on experience in supporting and maintaining cybersecurity platforms, including troubleshooting techniques and the use of diagnostic tools.
- Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Web Security, spanning day-to-day operations, platform health and configuration management.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking concepts and protocols, and principles of access rights and permissions.
- Must be meticulous, versatile, and inquisitive, with strong attention to detail.
- Possess an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Be a good team player with excellent communication skills.
- Scripting and coding skills, with proficiency in Python or similar programming languages, will be advantageous.
- Professional qualification in information security, such as CISSP will be advantageous
