What impact can you make in this role?
As an AI Project Manager within the Investment Insights Group, you will spearhead transformative AI initiatives, driving projects from concept to deployment with precision and impact. In this role, you will act as a critical link between strategic business goals and technical execution, harnessing cutting-edge AI technologies to deliver innovation and measurable value.
What will you do as an AI Project Manager?
Project Delivery & Management
- Guide AI projects through their lifecycle, from ideation and data feasibility assessments to deployment and post-launch optimization, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Monitor project milestones, proactively identify risks, and manage dependencies to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery
- Maintain project boards in tools like JIRA and prepare impactful presentations for stakeholder communications, ensuring transparency and alignment
Dependency Management
- Identify, document, and prioritize project dependencies across teams to avoid bottlenecks and delays
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve dependency conflicts and ensure all interrelated tasks are synchronized
- Regularly review dependency logs to adapt to evolving AI project requirements, such as new datasets to maintain alignment with overall objectives.
Vendor Engagement
- Manage AI and data vendor relationships to ensure alignment with project requirements, strategic vision, and budget constraints
- Oversee vendor selection for AI-specific needs, including due diligence and contract negotiations, in collaboration with legal and procurement teams
- Ability to align AI projects with business objectives, ensuring measurable ROI and strategic impact
Technical Acumen
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Engineers, and Product Managers to assess the technical feasibility of use cases, including data availability and complexities
- Engage with technical teams post-launch to drive continuous improvement and optimize deployed solutions
- Continuously stay informed about advancements in AI and emerging technologies to ensure alignment with industry trends and innovation opportunities.
What makes you a successful candidate?
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or related field
• Certification with one or more project management methodologies (e.g., Agile Scrum Master, SAFe, PMI, and PRINCE2)
• 3 years in a project management role, preferably in the technology or finance industry with experience in managing complex projects
• Experience in managing budgets for AI tools, cloud resources, and vendor contracts
• Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders
• Experience in change management practices and methodologies
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Passion for innovation and driving positive change through technology
