Fixed Income Multi Asset (FIMA)
Our team employs a broad range of investment strategies that span macro, credit, and quantitative investing, including multi-asset, benchmark-agnostic, constrained, indexed, and thematic strategies.
What impact can you make in this role?
We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented quantitative strategist to support the FIMA quantitative team in portfolio construction and asset allocation using advanced quantitative techniques. We are looking to recruit a meticulous, rigorous, and reliable junior quant who we will train and grow within the quant team. A solid foundation in quantitative methods and an eagerness to learn quickly are essential.
What will you do as a Quantitative Strategist?

Develop and apply Python-based tools for strategic and tactical asset allocation, portfolio optimization and backtesting, factorial decomposition, risk and performance attribution, risk analysis and stress-testing, portfolio simulation, etc.

Conduct in-depth analysis of FIMA portfolios by meticulously handling large amounts of complex portfolio data and models.

Ensure accuracy and rigor in all data handling and model development tasks, recognizing the critical importance of precision in our work.
What makes you a successful candidate?

Advanced degree in quantitative fields such as mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, engineering, quantitative finance, actuarial science, or econometrics.

2-3 years of professional experience in a quantitative role (e.g., quant strategist, quant researcher, actuary, risk modeler, data scientist, etc.).

Strong knowledge in optimization (mostly convex), probability theory, numerical analysis, inferential and Bayesian statistics, bootstrap and resampling methods, machine learning, etc.

Superior coding skills in Python; a track record in algorithmic and package development would be a plus.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand and cater to the needs of non-quant colleagues.

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and rigor in all tasks.
