Fixed Income Multi Asset  (FIMA)

Our team employs a broad range of investment strategies that span macro, credit, and quantitative investing, including multi-asset, benchmark-agnostic, constrained, indexed, and thematic strategies.

What impact can you make in this role?

We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented quantitative strategist to support the FIMA quantitative team in portfolio construction and asset allocation using advanced quantitative techniques. We are looking to recruit a meticulous, rigorous, and reliable junior quant who we will train and grow within the quant team. A solid foundation in quantitative methods and an eagerness to learn quickly are essential.

What will you do as a Quantitative Strategist?

  • Develop and apply Python-based tools for strategic and tactical asset allocation, portfolio optimization and backtesting, factorial decomposition, risk and performance attribution, risk analysis and stress-testing, portfolio simulation, etc.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of FIMA portfolios by meticulously handling large amounts of complex portfolio data and models.

  • Ensure accuracy and rigor in all data handling and model development tasks, recognizing the critical importance of precision in our work.

What makes you a successful candidate?

  • Advanced degree in quantitative fields such as mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, engineering, quantitative finance, actuarial science, or econometrics.

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in a quantitative role (e.g., quant strategist, quant researcher, actuary, risk modeler, data scientist, etc.).

  • Strong knowledge in optimization (mostly convex), probability theory, numerical analysis, inferential and Bayesian statistics, bootstrap and resampling methods, machine learning, etc.

  • Superior coding skills in Python; a track record in algorithmic and package development would be a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand and cater to the needs of non-quant colleagues.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and rigor in all tasks.
