Technology Group
We experiment, design, and lead a 24×7 global business where we support core capabilities in asset management, trading, investment operations, and risk management. We deliver secure, reliable, and integrated solutions, and provide insights on new, and emerging technologies.
Business Partner & Solutions
You will help to explore new, and existing technology to support our strategic, and operational business needs across our Public Markets, Private Markets, Total Portfolio Risk, Corporate Services, and Enterprise Solutions.

What will you do as a Data Scientist?
The Data Scientist in BPS works with various business user to improve operational efficiency in different systems. The Data Scientist needs to:
- Refine ambiguous questions and generate new hypotheses about the systems and business through a deep understanding of the data and business.
- Develop models and analytics to support key functions such as trade execution, investment operations, finance and compliance to detect anomalies and develop solutions that improve our efficiency and effectiveness in our operations.
- Be able to analyze, manipulate, and visualize the data to help business users understand their systems better.
- Define how a digital product measures success, by developing Key Performance Indicators and other user/business metrics, in close partnership with business users and other subject areas such as finance operations and cybersecurity.
- Collaborate with software and data engineers to build and improve on the availability, integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data logging and data pipelines.
What makes you a successful candidate?
- M.S. or Bachelors degree in Math, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields
- Good understanding of experimental design, machine learning and statistical methods
- Experience coding in python, building the end to end solution from ingesting data, processing it, building models and visualizing the results on a dashboard such as Tableau
- Understand how to deploy and monitor models in production
- Willingness to get your hands dirty to wrangle with challenging datasets to identify product opportunities and uncover interesting product insights
