The Public Equity (EQ) department pursues active management strategies in equity investing. We invest globally and are organized along product groups specializing in different total return and relative return strategies.


We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our Emerging Markets Non-Asia Equities Division as an Executive Assistant to provide business support.




  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to Head, Emerging Markets Non-Asia Equities and the investment team. These include:
    • Managing complex business travel arrangements for the investment team to emerging markets outside of Asia (e.g., Latin America, Central & East Europe, Middle East, Africa). These include booking travel arrangements, coordinating out-of-town meeting schedules, managing expense claims;
    • Arranging large group meetings or conference calls – field and screen requests for meetings, coordinate meetings with multiple parties, coordinate reception and logistics arrangements, manage meeting conflicts and prioritization issues;
    • Helping to organize team and/or departmental events.


  • Be part of a wider community to pursue technology and continuous process improvement:
    • Actively identify opportunities for process improvements to create efficiencies and support capability to business needs;
    • Work on systematizing processes and incorporating efficiency tools in the business support process.




As the candidate will be working closely with other business support associates in supporting a team of senior professionals, the following qualities are expected:

  • Strong communications, planning and coordination skills;
  • Strong sense of responsibility and team spirit;
  • Ability to work with limited direction from senior professionals and to make sound judgments independently.


The role involves contact with industry figures, government officials and senior management in other firms. Thus, the successful candidate should have the following qualities:

  • Strong interpersonal capabilities and polish;
  • Maturity in managing relationships and challenging situations.


The successful candidate is also expected to have a keen interest in technology and business support efficiency tools. Candidates with corporate access background or experience in coordinating complex business trips would be favorably considered.
