Portfolio Execution Group
Portfolio Execution Group encompasses multiple teams that perform a range of functional roles including trade execution, funding & liquidity management, securities financing, and applied quantitative research. This group comprises four sub-teams – Global Trading Unit (GTU), Balance Sheet Management Group (BMG), Applied Research Unit (ARU), and Business Strategy & Management (BSM).
We are looking for an Associate, Investment Services Analyst (1 year contract). The candidate will be part of the BSM team and work closely with the Balance Sheet Management Group.
What will you do as an Associate, Investment Services Analyst (Contract)?
- Support the BMG Portfolio Managers in portfolio operations and implementation of their investment activities, e.g. trade lifecycle management, orders preparation, pre-trade compliance and post-trade checks.
 - Manage securities borrowing and lending, e.g. inventory sourcing, lending restrictions, recalls, loans tagging, reconciliation and balances reporting.
 - Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for internal Portfolio and Inventory Management Systems.
 - Provide inputs to streamline processes, improve operational efficiencies, and maintain operational documentations.
 
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
- Degree in Finance, Business, or related fields with a minimum of one year of relevant working experience in the financial services industry.
 - Committed and motivated individual who has a strong sense of urgency, is meticulous, resourceful, and is able to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
 - Ability to work independently, and collaboratively in a team environment.
 - Knowledge of securities finance and the investment process/operations, and proficient in end user computing tools (e.g. Microsoft Office applications, Tableau) is preferred.
