We are seeking a detail-oriented UAT Analyst to join our team on a 8 months contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating system integrations and changes within our internal systems, specifically focusing on the Charles River platform. This role is crucial in ensuring that our systems function seamlessly and meet business requirements.
What will you do as an Associate, UAT Analyst (Contract) ?
- Seek to understand integration points and identify testing needs.
- Collaborate with various front office stakeholders to develop User Acceptance Test (UAT) test plans and cases.
- Work closely with Technology team to prepare UAT environment, ensuring necessary configurations are in place for effective testing.
- Execute and perform thorough testing, ensuring accurate data flow from upstream to downstream systems.
- Identify, document, track defects/bugs and follow up closely with Technology team to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain detailed records of test cases, results, and defect reports, ensuring transparency and traceability throughout testing process.
- Assist in creating training materials for changes implemented.
- Perform post deployment verifications to ensure changes are implemented as expected and function correctly in the live environment.
- Provide ad hoc support to the Portfolio Implementation teams during non-UAT periods, collaborating with other departments during support activities.
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
- Prior experience in UAT, preferably in financial services or investment management.
- Familiarity with Charles River or similar investment management systems is a plus.
- Interests in or direct working experience with equity markets/instruments will be ideal.
- High level of initiative, meticulous and well-organised.
- Possess good communications skills, with the ability to understand business needs and engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet stipulated timelines.
