Investment Services Public Markets, or ISPM, is an integrated team that provides investment service support for public market investment activities strategically and tactically.  The team is responsible for business management functions for all public market investment strategy groups, as well as GIC’s global trade operations, custody control and asset servicing such as income entitlements, mergers and acquisitions and other corporate events of our underlying investments, futures and derivative operations, collateral management, pricing and rates, market data and rebalancing operations.   The coverage extends across a spectrum of products such as equities, bonds, money market, foreign exchange, futures, collateralized securities and other derivatives. 

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and analytical individual with an interest in supporting total portfolio rebalancing operations to join us as an Associate or AVP. The candidate will be part of a team to provide business-focused investment services to enable sharper investment execution.




The candidate will work with the investment teams and technology group to ensure timely and accurate rebalancing trade management and execution. The rebalancing portfolio coverage is global and includes assets such as Equities, Bonds, Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Futures, Collateralized Securities and other derivatives. Primarily responsibilities would include:

  • Analyze rebalancing data to ensure completeness and consistency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any data quality issues promptly
  • Discuss and advise portfolio managers and business managers on portfolio rebalancing requirements
  • Evaluate new business requirements, propose and implement system solutions
  • Develop, implement and maintain controls and workflows to ensure quality and timeliness of data
  • Adopt end user computing tools for continuous process and efficiency improvements




  • A good Degree in Finance, Accountancy or related fields with at least 3 years' relevant working experience in fund management, banking industry or large-scale data operation fields
  • Sound knowledge of financial instruments. An additional qualification like CFA will be considered favorably.
  • Possess strong analytical abilities with an eye for detail
  • Forward thinker who is able to “connect the dots” and appreciate both the big picture and relevant small details
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong learning agility
  • Team player with the willingness to take on new challenges in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • A high level of proficiency in MS Office is required. Experience in end user computing tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau will be an advantage.
