The Portfolio Execution Group (PEG) is responsible for functions spanning trade execution, funding and liquidity management, portfolio rebalancing, beta replication and securities financing.


PEG comprises 2 groups, the Global Trading Unit (GTU) and the Treasury and Portfolio Management Group (TPMG).

TPMG is seeking a suitable candidate to join us as Investment Services Analyst based in Singapore on a 1 year contract. The Securities Finance team manages and trades a global equities financing portfolio to extract outperformance from available inventory and the Beta Replication team manages the passive portfolios by investing in markets globally via equity and equity derivative instruments.




  • Providing reports and analysis in support of portfolio management needs. This would include the building of exposure, risk and performance reports/dashboards among others.
  • Providing order/trade management support for Portfolio Managers. This would include order preparation, supporting governance, regulatory and compliance requirements, transaction and order reporting and monitoring, proactive management to ensure smooth trade execution and processing.
  • Engaging external counterparties with regards to the order management and trade settlement processes and issues.
  • Involvement in projects’ UAT testing.
  • Providing ad hoc support to Portfolio Managers.
  • Working with other departments to design, test and implement improvements to existing workflows.




The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Diploma Holder or University Degree in any discipline
  • Good working knowledge with MS Office, in particular MS Excel (eg. proficiency with pivot tables) is critical.
  • Good technical knowledge. Working proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, R or Python is a plus.
  • Good working knowledge with data visualization requirements and tools such as Tableau would be an advantage.
  • Interests in and direct working experience with equity markets/instruments and relevant working experience will be ideal.
  • Able to engage different stakeholders, manage issues and deliver outcomes. Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency, and resilient to challenges.
  • A strong team player with excellent interpersonal, communications and analytical skills, who is keen to learn, support and contribute to the team’s mandate.
  • Comfortable working with data and doing analytical work. High level of initiative, meticulous and well-organized. Self-starter who is hands-on and comfortable to manage multiple tasks.
  • Able to proactively understand business needs as well as seek out opportunities to make process and reporting improvements.
