We are looking for a suitable candidate for the role of SVP, Cyber Security Operations (SecOps).  This role reports to the Head, Cyber Security, Information & Technology Risk (CSITR), within TG, and leads a team of Cyber Security Specialists.



  • Direct the team to manage the design, development, and maintenance of SecOps services;
  • Direct and drive process and documentation improvement in threat intelligence, vulnerability management, security analysis, triage and escalation procedures, workflows and tasks;
  • Provide oversight to develop, maintain and periodically validate the cyber security incident response playbooks;
  • Manage the escalation process and review security incident reports;
  • Develop and measure SecOps performance metrics; identify and execute on opportunities for improvement;
  • Ensure SecOps’ alignment with our Cyber Security strategy, partnering closely with other teams in CSITR and business stakeholders to define and drive cyber security requirements into practice across processes and systems;
  • Manage staffing, including recruitment, supervision, career development, performance evaluation, talent retention and succession planning;
  • Establish a culture of collaboration and excellence within SecOps; serve as a role model, leader and mentor for positive change;
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and breaking news that may be relevant, especially relating to our existing or future investments in security;
  • Act as a subject matter expert in enterprise security, security incident response, security awareness programs, and compliance strategy;
  • Manage financial aspects of SecOps, including preparation for tendering, purchasing, budgeting, and budget review.




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience preferably in financial services or asset management industries, with minimum 5 years of leading and managing teams in Cyber Security or Information Security.
  • Professional qualification such as CISSP / CISM / CEH will be advantageous.
  • Broad-based experience across multiple cyber security areas, such as threat intelligence, forensic investigation, malware analysis / reverse engineering, endpoint security and cloud security.
  • Experience in use of cyber security products such as SIEM, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, security incident response and forensic investigation tools, anomaly analytics tools, etc.
  • Be a good team leader and excellent communicator with both non-technical and technical audiences.
  • Strong executive-level presence and influence skills
  • Desire to work in a diverse environment interacting with various teams and functions to support strategic goals.
