We experiment, design, and lead a 24×7 global business where we support core capabilities in asset management, trading, investment operations, and risk management. We deliver secure, reliable, and integrated solutions, and provide insights on new, and emerging technologies. 

 

Business Partner & Solutions
You will help to explore new, and existing technology to support our strategic, and operational business needs across our Public Markets, Private Markets, Total Portfolio Risk, Corporate Services, and Enterprise Solutions.

What will you do as a Principal Product Manager (Investment Risk Analytics)?

  • Define product vision and technology strategic objectives
  • Define product roadmap, which outlines features and functionality that will be developed over time
  • Prioritize features based on business goals and technical feasibility
  • Drive best practices for new improvements and maintenance, ensure the highest quality and standards are applied
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, technology leads, software development teams and designers in crafting product vision, roadmap, prioritization of initiatives and features
  • Ensure dynamic, incremental, and continuous delivery of the product that brings value to the business in an agile and sustainable manner
  • Collaborate with software engineers to analyze business requirements and design the best solution of the product
  • Coach and lead by example in product management practices

 

What makes you a successful candidate?

Domain Experience

  • At least 15 years of experience in the financial industry is required, with a strong focus and knowledge of investment risk analytics in one or more asset classes (Equity, Fixed Income, Funds, Real Estate, Private Equity and Infrastructure)
  • Up-to-date knowledge on industry trends and emerging technologies, especially in the area of investment risk analytics

 
Product Management

  • Strong background in product development, with experience in defining and driving the development of a software product. The candidate should have a proven track record of working with business and technology teams to develop software as a product
  • Hands on experience in conducting business analysis functions, senior stakeholder management, solution designing, and software test planning

 

User Experience & Product Design

  • In-depth understanding of how risk managers use data and analytics in identifying the risk and performance drivers of investment strategies
  • Good understanding of design principles and user experience (UX) design, as well as the ability to work effectively with product designers

 

Technical & Data Experience

  • Past hands-on experience in software development and production support of risk applications
  • Well-versed in Agile software development methodologies, with hands on experience in working as part of highly effective Agile software development team using Scrum, Kanban, or other agile frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of investment data sets and hands-on knowledge in data modeling, database design and data analysis

 

Communication

  • Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas and solutions effectively with technical (e.g. software architects, cloud architects, software engineers) and non-technical stakeholders (e.g. risk managers, portfolio managers) across various seniorities.
  • Ability to influence and align differing views in complex scenarios with stakeholders

 

Leadership

  • Proven experience in building, inspiring and leading high performing product teams.
  • Ability to set clear expectations of teams’ performance levels, assess their performance critically and addresses issues objectively and fairly
  • Passionate to go the extra mile to coach junior product managers and business analysts in enabling them to achieve their best ability
  • Be a change evangelist in driving the necessary changes in building a modern technology architecture and high performing team
