Public Equities
We generate sustainable, superior returns through active investments across global equity markets. Strategies include total return strategies, absolute return strategies, and relative return strategies. We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our Strategy & Programmes team as a Senior Vice President
What will you do as a SVP, Strategy & Programmes?
Strategy Planning & Execution
- Partner with the Public Equities CIO, COO and senior leadership team to define, refine, and drive the department’s long-term strategic agenda
- Lead the formulation and execution of multi-year strategic plans and target operating model initiatives
- Oversee annual business planning, forecasting, and strategic reviews, ensuring alignment with department and enterprise priorities
- Anticipate emerging trends and opportunities, providing thought leadership and actionable insights to shape the department’s strategic direction
- Oversee a portfolio of high-priority strategic initiatives and partner with Technology and other corporate functions to ensure smooth execution, measurable outcomes, and alignment with investment and operational goals
Product Management
- Define and steer the long-term product and platform strategy for Public Equities, ensuring the investment teams are equipped with the right capabilities needed to support long-term investment goals
- Champion cross-functional collaboration with Technology, Data, and Operations to prioritise and deliver strategic capabilities
- Engage external partners and industry peers to benchmark best practices, identify trends, and shape partnerships with key service providers and platforms
Strategic Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, synthesising complex strategic topics into clear, compelling narratives and recommendations
- Lead the development of high-impact materials for senior management, Board, and client engagements, articulating the Public Equities strategy, performance, and priorities
- Develop strategic narrative and high impact materials for senior management, board, and client engagements, that align with Public Equities goals.
- Enhance communication and engagement to drive alignment and understanding of key focus areas across internal and external stakeholders
What qualifications or skills should you possess?
- 15+ years of experience in strategy, business management or consulting within financial services
- Proven ability to lead strategic projects and cross-functional programmes in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with front office and technology teams in a global organisation
- Strategic thinker with operational execution ability
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable navigating complex, matrixed organisations and working with ambiguity
- Project management expertise, including Agile/ Lean methodologies preferred
- High proficiency in Powerpoint
