Enterprise and Data Technology

What impact can you make in this role?
As part of Corporate Technology, we are looking for an experienced business analyst to lead the delivery, operational excellence, and continuous evolution of GIC’s HR technology platforms, with primary responsibility for SAP SuccessFactors and opportunities to support adjacent HR technology solutions across the portfolio.
Working closely with HR stakeholders and cross-functional technology teams, you will translate business priorities into technology solutions and lead the successful delivery of strategic initiatives, enhancements, and operational services.
You will play a key role in ensuring the HR technology landscape remains secure, resilient, scalable, and aligned with enterprise technology standards.
This role requires a blend of business partnership, technology leadership, and delivery management, with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams to deliver business value.

 

What will you do as a Business Analyst?

Technology Leadership

  • Serve as the lead for assigned HR technology platforms, with SAP SuccessFactors as the primary responsibility.
  • Drive the delivery, stability and continuous improvement of the platform landscape.
  • Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with business priorities and enterprise technology direction.
  • Identify opportunities to modernise platforms, simplify processes and improve user experience.

Business Partnership

  • Partner closely with HR stakeholders to understand business priorities and translate them into effective technology solutions.
  • Act as a trusted technology advisor, providing recommendations on platform capabilities, solution options, and technology direction.
  • Build strong relationships across HR and Technology to ensure successful planning and delivery of initiatives.
  • Balance business demand with technology priorities, operational stability, and resource capacity.


Solution Delivery & Platform Management

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of enhancements, projects, upgrades and production support activities.
  • Manage platform backlog, releases, and implementation activities.
  • Ensure effective incident, problem and change management practices to maintain platform stability.
  • Drive continuous service improvement through process optimisation and automation.


Solution Design & Technology Governance

  • Lead solution design across assigned HR platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity and technology standards.
  • Work closely with Engineering teams on integrations, identity management, APIs and downstream enterprise applications.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure and maintainable while reducing technical debt where appropriate.


Risk, Security & Compliance

  • Ensure assigned platforms comply with enterprise technology policies, cybersecurity standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead technology risk management activities, including audit findings, vulnerability remediation and operational resilience.
  • Proactively identify risks and drive mitigation plans with relevant stakeholders.


Vendor & Service Management

  • Manage implementation partners and application managed service (AMS) vendors to ensure high-quality delivery and operational excellence.
  • Establish effective vendor governance through performance reviews, service improvement initiatives and commercial oversight.
  • Review Statements of Work, project proposals and delivery plans where required.


Stakeholder Management

  • Communicate technology plans, delivery progress, risks and recommendations to business and technology stakeholders.
  • Coordinate across HR, Engineering, Architecture, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure teams to deliver integrated technology solutions.
  • Support annual planning, budgeting and technology roadmap discussions for assigned platforms.

 

What makes you a successful candidate?

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience delivering enterprise technology solutions in complex organisations.
  • Strong experience with SAP SuccessFactors (or other enterprise HR SaaS platforms).
  • Proven experience leading technology delivery, platform management, and business engagement.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise application integrations, cloud technologies and solution architecture.
  • Experience managing implementation partners and managed service vendors.
  • Good understanding of HR processes such as Core HR, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Performance or Compensation is advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive technology initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution and continuous improvement.
