With over 2,000 employees across 11 locations around the world, we invest in more than 40 countries globally across asset classes and businesses. Working at GIC gives you exposure to an extraordinary network of the world’s industry leaders. As a leading global long-term investor, we Work at the Point of Impact for Singapore’s financial future, and the communities we invest in worldwide.
Technology Group
We experiment, design, and lead a 24×7 global business where we support core capabilities in asset management, trading, investment operations, and risk management. We deliver secure, reliable, and integrated solutions, and provide insights on new, and emerging technologies.
What impact can you make in this role?
Portfolio Solutions owns the technology platform and features that connect portfolio decisions to execution. We work closely with portfolio managers and quant researchers across both the platform and the investment processes built on it. We value production fidelity, close partnership with our stakeholders, and engineering systems that hold up in a demanding trading environment.
In this role, you will own the multi-asset rebalancing value stream: the features in our order generation platform that turn target portfolios into rebalancing orders. You will bridge the investment teams you serve and engineering, turning their needs into a clear roadmap. Your work will directly affect how accurately and reliably investment decisions reach the market.
What will you do as a Business Analyst?
- Owning the product direction and roadmap for your value stream, covering the platform features and the pre-trade workflows they support.
- Partnering closely with portfolio managers, quant researchers and engineers to gather and prioritise requirements.
- Coordinating with other business analysts on shared platform capabilities and dependencies.
- Translating business and risk needs into clear specifications for engineering.
- Balancing platform and workflow priorities from discovery to delivery.
- Operating hands-on at the intersection of business analysis and product ownership.
What makes you a successful candidate?
- Product leadership - You have a track record of owning products from concept to scale. You set a clear vision, prototype ideas and spot risks early.
- Effective delivery - You deliver results in organisations large and small. You align stakeholders and keep momentum.
- Technical credibility - You engage engineers as a peer on system design, data and security. You weigh technical trade-offs and explain them in business terms.
- Domain knowledge - You have experience in buy-side trading technology. If your background is elsewhere, you can show how quickly you master a new domain.
Good to have
- Agentic fluency - You have practical experience with agentic workflows. You stay curious about how agents will reshape what we build and how we build it.
- Experience with order or execution management systems (OMS/EMS), or with pre-trade workflows.
- A strong academic background in a quantitative or technical field.
