Data Strategy Group
We build our data architecture in a robust operational environment with scale and efficiency. Data is meaningful in a functional, discoverable, and accessible format to power GIC’s innovative investment strategies.

 

Data Management 
You will actively manage GIC’s data through technology-enabled activities such as data sourcing, maintenance, and remediation. Our stewardship ensures data remains trustworthy, and of high quality.

You will strive to build a high-performance enterprise data infrastructure, and create a results-driven approach with data products.

 

What will you do as a Data Product Manager (Enterprise Data Technology)?

  • Formulate strategies for enterprise data capabilities and drive the adoption within GIC 

  • Align with Data Architecture and Data Governance for effective implementation of Data framework, achieving the vision of a Data driven organization 

  • Work closely with business stakeholders and data product mangers within the Data Product Management team to support and implement enterprise initiative for data discoverability, data quality and data distribution using best-of-breed technology and methodology 

  • Identify opportunities and uplift the organization data inventorization, data quality control and data distribution through the adoption of enterprise toolkits 

  • Establish a robust and scalable operation process that encapsulate the entire data lifecycle from data registration to decommissioning

 

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?  

  • Possess a degree with at least 10 years of working experience, with relevant experience in data management and the financial services industry 
  • Good understanding of the principles, key controls and processes relating to data. management as well as data modelling and data integration 
  • Agile and fast learner and able to drive change 
  • Strong analytical skills and enjoy complex problem solving, basic coding skills are advantageous 
  • Cross-functional leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders 
  • Experience working with enterprise products across the data lifecycle
