What impact can you make in this role?

You will be part of a team that champions the people agenda for GIC.

 

What will you do as an Employee Relations & Governance practitioner?

  • Drive the employee relations strategy and continuously finetune related policies and processes globally
  • Manage complex investigations and grievances independently
  • Provide holistic advice to internal stakeholders and employees relating to employee relations policies, processes and employment governance matters
  • Keep abreast of employment legislation developments and assess impact on talent strategy, policies and processes, recommend and implement appropriate course of actions
  • Partner closely with cross department teams to meet enterprise objectives and proactively develop and deliver solutions to issues that arise
  • Curate engagement and training content to share best practices and educate employees
  • Prepare insights-focused senior management reports and perform thematic analysis to improve GIC’s culture and controls
  • Design and implement employment governance policies

 

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 7+ years in Human Resources or related area (such as employment law), with at least 5 years’ experience in managing employee conduct, grievances, investigation and employment governance matters
  • Solid knowledge of employment legislation in Singapore, Australia, China, India, Korea and Japan
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-directed individual who demonstrates initiative, agility, resourcefulness and good judgment
  • Ability to think strategically, analyse issues and problem solve
  • Ability to work effectively under tight timelines in a fast-paced, multi-jurisdiction environment
