We are looking for an VP, Lead Enterprise Architect, this role will lead organisation wide technical and business discussions in respect to future enterprise direction, aligning architecture strategy with organizational goals.

 

You will design and develop governing principles to guide enterprise architecture decision making and formulates enterprise architectural requirements. In this role, you will synthesize diverse enterprise needs and perspective to spearhead new initiatives, solutions and drive innovations.

 

Responsibilities

 

Support enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap

 

  • Lead enterprise architecture group to develop enterprise architecture blueprints, standards and processes.
  • Drive technical and business discussions in respect to future enterprise direction.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture governance processes.
  • Support the development of governing principles to guide enterprise architecture decision making.
  • Develop communication plans for enterprise architecture changes and roadmap.

 

Develop architecture artifacts and maintain oversight

 

  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture artifacts such as enterprise architecture landscape, business architecture, data architecture, application architecture and technology architecture with respective business and technology teams.

 

Review project level system architecture

 

  • Lead architecture review working groups to ensure alignment of system level architecture to enterprise architecture.
  • Advise project teams on options, risks, costs versus benefits, system impact and technology priorities.

 

Research emerging technologies

 

  • Drive development and sustaining technology roadmap for technology group, that is relevant to organization and uprising industry trends.

 

Qualifications and Skills Requirements

 

  • At least 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Masters in computer science, information technology or equivalent.
  • With 5 years of relevant experience in designing, building and managing large scale application platforms.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to influence key stakeholders ranging from subject matter experts to senior management executives.
  • Excellent understanding of software development best practices including requirement analysis, SDLC, Software Configuration and Change Management, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, system security design.
  • Possesses advanced knowledge of relevant enterprise architecture methodologies, frameworks, modelling and process mapping tools, along with information technology architectures and technologies such TOGAF 9.x, Archimate 3.x, private and public cloud architecture, and modern application architectures.
  • Strong knowledge in Financial Market domains will be an added advantage.
