Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Resilience (ICR)

What impact will you make in this role?
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and delivering Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Resilience(ICR) projects and initiatives on time, within scope, and within budget. These projects may span multiple sub-domains and involve extensive stakeholder engagement, with varying levels of complexity. Success in this role requires a proactive and detail-oriented approach, strong governance discipline, and a commitment to seeing initiatives through to completion. A genuine interest in the work, a passion for continuous learning, and excellent stakeholder, communication, and time management skills are essential. The candidate must demonstrate strong proficiency in core project management competencies, encompassing all nine PMBOK knowledge areas, supported by formal training and proven hands-on delivery experience, and apply these consistently across all assigned projects.
What will you do as a VP, Project Manager (Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Resilience)?
- Project Leadership: Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of cross-functional infrastructure and cybersecurity projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Value Driven engagement: Constantly seek out opportunities to value add across the project delivery lifecycle and wherever is sensible to fast track tasks and optimize the end to end delivery process. Pre-emptively call out potential risks with mitigation plans, and manage issues to closure, to ensure successful project completion. Escalate potential risks early for closure.
- Best Practices champion: Identify opportunities to implement best practices to enhance efficiency, drawing from the project management certification, project delivery expertise, and good governance.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Dependency Mapping: Apply techniques used in managing past strategic complex deliveries and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and manage dependencies, ensuring seamless project execution and delivery.
- Project Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, with critical path surfaced, tracking progress and optimizing timelines as necessary to meet project milestones.
- Reporting: Conduct weekly working party meetings as required to ensure progress. Prepare and present comprehensive project reports to senior leadership, highlighting key metrics, challenges, and achievements.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment among project teams, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing to drive project success.
- Financials, Procurement and Compliance: Apply deep understanding and expertise in managing project financials, procurement and compliance related endeavours related to projects deliveries. The latter are key for good governance and to ensure no breach.
- Future Leadership: Position yourself as a potential future leader for the project management function within ICR, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
What makes you a successful candidate?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred (May be in progress).
- At least 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in the Financial sector.
- Certification in Project Management from a recognised institute is a Must. Preferably Project Management Institute (PMI/PMP) or CITPM (NUS-ISS).
- Emphasis on good Project Governance and project hygiene. The latter includes a deep understanding of all Financials, Procurement and Compliance related matters for projects undertaken. It also includes experience in managing the various technical approvals applicable for the projects at hand, and deliveries accomplished must be able to stand up to audits.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex, cross-functional projects in a global environment, and clear ability to leverage and harness the strengths of stakeholders to instil an effective working model for deliveries undertaken. Delivery of projects related to infrastructure and security, including major upgrades, complex re-hosting or re-platforming initiatives on Cloud/on-prem.
- Strong understanding and successful application of various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (eg. JIRA, Confluence, MS Project).
- Demostrated skills as an enabler, who is able to value add to every interaction and at every opportunity that may arise to effectively bring initiatives to market.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Proven successful engagement with Senior Leadership and across all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Proven ability to quickly grasp new concepts and deep dive for new initiatives undertaken.
