The Artificial Intelligence Alpha Group (AAG) is a newly formed, AI-native investment team building and applying advanced AI technologies to deliver superior investment performance. We are a collaborative and cross-function team of investors, data scientists, and technologists, using AI to reimagine fundamental investing.

What impact can you make in the role?

We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer to develop and operationalize our AI-powered investment systems. You will be responsible for building front-end interfaces, back-end services, data processing workflows, and deployment processes - leveraging AI-native development tools to accelerate delivery and improve efficiency.

The ideal candidate combines strong Full-Stack engineering capabilities with working knowledge of data pipelines and deployment environments, a deep curiousity about the latest advancements in AI technologies, and hands-on experience using AI tools to automate and accelerate software development.

What will you do in this role?

• Implement and operationalize system components into production-ready applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, AI scientists and engineers to translate product requirements into detailed technical specifications and development plans.
• Develop and maintain scalable front-end interfaces and back-end services using modern frameworks and best practices.
• Build and optimize data processing workflows, including data extraction, transformation, integration pipelines, and feature engineering to support AI models and applications.
• Deploy applications to designated environments, implement monitoring solutions, and ensure stable operation.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Contribute to technical documentation and facilitate cross-functional collaboration throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Leverage AI-native development tools for coding, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting, while continuously exploring emerging AI techniques to enhance development productivity and quality.

What makes you a successful candidate? 

• Bachelor’s degree of higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in full-stack development, with proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework (React or Vue) and a Python-based back-end framework (e.g., FastAPI, Django, Flask).
• Solid understanding of web architecture, APIs, and software design principles.
• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL), as well as experience working with message queues.
• Working knowledge of data pipeline development, including data extraction, transformation, and integration processes.
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications in Linux or cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure or Databricks).
• Familiarity with agentic architectures and AI workflow design, including prompt and contextual engineering, and practical use of AI-native development tools with demonstrated ability to leverage AI to accelerate coding, testing, and documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and product teams.
• Passion for exploring emerging AI technologies and applying them to real-world product development.
