We drive GIC’s talent strategies, and shape the organisational culture to sustain GIC’s long-term performance.
Talent & Organization Strategy
You will be part of a team with key mandates that include performance management, talent management, leadership development, succession planning, workforce strategy, employee listening and engagement, organization values and culture, and DEI.
What impact can you make in this role?
You will be responsible for supporting Management and the Board on various initiatives to support the performance, growth and thriving of our employee population.
What will you do as a VP, Talent & Organization Strategy?
(Team members will be exposed to different parts of the portfolio over time)
- Lead the thinking on workforce strategy and organizational design initiatives through data-driven analysis and scenario planning, including the impact of AI.
- Oversee and interpret organisational health and engagement signals, transalting insights into targeted, high-impact interventions.
- Drive alignment between firm-wide performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning with evolving busienss priorities
- Champion and embed GIC's culture, values, and DEI priorities through enterprise-wide programs and senior stakeholder engagement.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership (Management, Executive Committee members, Board Committees) on critical people and organisation topics
- Lead development of executive- and Board-level materials, distilling complex topics into clear, actionable insights.
- Drive integration across HR domains, partnering with HRBPs, People Analytics, and Talent Acquisition to deliver holistic, end-to-end people strategies.
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
- Ideally 7 to 10 years of experience in HR strategy, organisation development, management consulting, or related fields, within a leading global organisation.
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-level human capital strategies and transformation initiatives
- Strong strategic thinking capability - able to move from problem framng and diagnosis to principled design and execution.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders, including Executive Committee members, Heads of Department, and Board-level forums.
- Execellent communications skills, with proven ability to distil complexity into clear, compelling narratives for executive audiences.
- Ability to operate effectively in a high-performing, fast-paced and ambigious environment, with strong ownership and drive.
- High level of professionalism, judgement, and discretion, particularly in handling sensitive organisational matters.
