Fixed Income (FI)

The Fixed Income department is responsible for managing the fixed income assets of the GIC portfolio. Its universe is global and spans multiple sectors, including G10 interest rates, currencies, credit, emerging markets, collateralised bonds, convertible bonds, index-level equities and commodities. FI is currently structured into 4 components:

  • Portfolio Management (Macro, Credit, Convertible Bond and Structured Products)
  • Research and Strategy (Macro and Credit)
  • Systematic Investment Group
  • Portfolio Solutions Group

 

Responsibilities

We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our Global Macro Division as a Vice President / Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager. The team manages several global nominal bond and inflation-linked bond strategies with currency discretion as we are a multi-asset macro strategy. This position is based in the Singapore office. 

 

Requirements

We are looking for someone with the following attributes:

  • At least 10 years' experience in portfolio management in the macro multi-asset space, with investment expertise in global interest rate, currencies, top down equities and credit.
  • A strong and robust fundamentally driven investment process.
  • A good understanding of global macro themes and issues with ability to connect the dots.
  • Ability to express views across different asset classes through best risk-reward strategy formulation, with due consideration to risk management and portfolio construction.
  • Self-driven and motivated, with strong communication skills.
  • Strong team-player and ability to work with different people.
