Working closely with investment teams, the PE COO Office and specialist partners, the role will identify opportunities to improve how we work and lead priority transformations from idea through implementation.

The role sits at the intersection of investing, operating model, and transformation. Data, AI and technology will be important enablers, but the focus is ultimately on better investment decisions, stronger performance management, and more effective execution.

What will you do?

1. Shape the PE operating model

  • Translate PE's strategic priorities into an operating model and transformation agenda.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve how PE invests, manages its portfolio and operates.
  • Design practical changes across workflows, processes, organization, data and technology.

2. Lead priority transformations

  • Lead a small number of high-impact initiatives from problem definition through implementation and adoption.
  • Build alignment across investment teams, the COO Office, enterprise partners and relevant external stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Ensure changes are implemented with appropriate governance, controls and risk considerations embedded from the outset.
  • Ensure transformation delivers measurable improvements in decision-making, effectiveness and productivity.

3. Harness data, AI, and technology

  • Identify where data, AI and technology can materially improve investment and operating workflows.
  • Work with specialist teams to translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions.
  • Bring relevant external, industry and market perspectives into how PE evolves its operating model.

4. Drive change and build capability

  • Build alignment with senior stakeholders and drive adoption of new ways of working.
  • Coach and guide colleagues working on transformation initiatives.
  • Help strengthen transformation capability across the PE COO Office.

What makes you successful in this role?

  • Experience in private markets, investment management, operating model transformation, strategy consulting, or a comparable environment.
  • Strong business judgment and an understanding of how investment organizations operate.
  • Track record of leading complex, cross-functional transformation from idea through execution.
  • Sufficient fluency in data, AI and technology to identify opportunities and work effectively with specialists.
  • Strong stakeholder leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with pragmatic, hands-on execution.
  • A clear and prioritized PE operating model transformation agenda.
  • Meaningful improvements in selected investment and portfolio-management workflows.
  • Better use of data, AI and technology to support investment decisions and productivity.
  • Strong adoption of new ways of working and measurable business impact.
