Technology Group
We experiment, design, and lead a 24×7 global business where we support core capabilities in asset management, trading, investment operations, and risk management. We deliver secure, reliable, and integrated solutions, and provide insights on new, and emerging technologies.
Business Partner & Solutions
You will help to explore new, and existing technology to support our strategic, and operational business needs across our Public Markets, Private Markets, Total Portfolio Risk, Corporate Services, and Enterprise Solutions.

What will you do as a Product Manager (Public Markets)?
- Define product vision and technology strategic objectives
- Define product roadmap, which outlines features and functionality that will be developed over time
- Prioritize features based on business goals and technical feasibility
- Drive best practices for new improvements and maintenance, ensure the highest quality and standards are applied
- Working closely with business stakeholders, technology leads, software development teams and designers in crafting product vision, roadmap, prioritization of initiatives and features
- Ensure dynamic, incremental, and continuous delivery of the product that brings value to the business in an agile and sustainable manner
- Collaborate with peer teams within GIC on multidiscipline projects and front-office and back-office initiatives
- Interact with financial institutions, international banks and brokers, vendors and solution providers for new business requirements/initiatives
What makes you a successful candidate?
- At least 10 years of experience in the financial industry is required
- Strong background in product development, with experience in defining and driving the development of a software product. The candidate should have a proven track record of working with business and technology teams to develop software as a product
- Good understanding of design principles and user experience (UX) design, as well as the ability to work effectively with designers
- Well-versed in Agile software development methodologies, with hands on experience in working as part of highly effective Agile software development team using Scrum, Kanban, or other agile frameworks
- Hands on experience in conducting business analysis functions, stakeholder management, solution designing, and software test planning. Experience in vendor management and production support of trade or deal lifecycle management applications is a plus
- Ability to strive in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment, communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technology leads, software developers and IT subject matter experts
- Experience in data management/operations in private market is an added advantage
- Hands on experience in a mid-back office business role and/or Public Markets and/or as a software engineer will be a plus
